NEWS UPDATES
Anthropic Ships a Claude Agent for Chrome
Anthropic released a Claude sidebar that sits inside Chrome. You can ask questions about any tab, summarise pages, draft replies, or run quick code without leaving the browser. Roll-out started yesterday for paid plans.
This puts AI on every employee's screen with zero context switch. Assign one team to pilot the extension, log time saved per task, and update security rules for sensitive sites.
Google Translate Takes on Duolingo
Google Translate now offers guided lessons, speaking practice, and spaced-repetition quizzes for 30 languages. Users earn streaks and personalised tips—features clearly aimed at Duolingo’s audience.
Free, work-grade language coaching can cut corporate training spend. Ask HR to compare Translate’s lessons with paid apps, then redirect the budget to higher-impact skill gaps.
Gemini’s “Bananas” Image Upgrade Arrives
Google calls the latest Gemini image model “bananas”—and it lives up to the hype: sharper text-on-image, photoreal fruit-level detail, higher resolution, and stricter brand-safety filters. The model is live in Labs and lands in Workspace next month.
In-house teams can spin up ad-quality visuals in minutes, slicing agency costs and draft cycles. Run a side-by-side test: compare cost per asset and speed versus external design partners, then lock those savings into your 2025 budget.

PROMPT TUTORIAL
Designing a Product Update Plan Blueprint
You are a pro product-planning architect tasked with shipping a focused update. Analyze [PRODUCT_EVIDENCE] to isolate the top three user pains in [PRODUCT_SCOPE] for a [ORG_CONTEXT]. For the top opportunity, draft a one-page plan (problem, user story, acceptance criteria, risks) and include one table titled “Product Update Plan” with columns: Work Item | Hypothesis | Metric | Owner | Effort (S/M/L) | Timeline (weeks) | Status. Prioritize by impact vs. effort, define a 30-day experiment, and set a clear go/no-go rule.
