NEWS UPDATES

Cursor Launches Web App to Manage AI Coding Agents

Code-assistant startup Cursor rolled out a browser-based dashboard that lets engineers spin up, monitor, and share custom GPT-4o agents for refactoring, testing, and data-pull tasks. The app adds role-based access, version history, and one-click rollout to GitHub repos, moving Cursor beyond an editor plugin.

If you manage engineering workflows, this gives you one place to monitor every helper bot instead of juggling ChatGPT tabs. You can set permissions once, see agent output logs, and roll back mistakes quickly.

Oracle Signs $30 Billion-a-Year Cloud Deal

Oracle closed a long-term contract—worth roughly thirty billion dollars annually—to host undisclosed AI workloads in its Gen 2 Cloud. The customer will get capacity across Oracle’s GPU super-clusters in Texas and Europe.

The single agreement nearly doubles Oracle Cloud’s booked AI revenue. Expect GPU supply to tighten once those racks are reserved. If you still need 2025-2026 accelerator space, negotiate now before Oracle’s inventory dries up.

Google adds Gemini AI and NotebookLM to Classroom

Google says Gemini prompts, AI study guides, and a lite version of NotebookLM will roll out to Classroom and ChromeOS this fall. Teachers will generate quizzes with one click, students will ask contextual questions, and admins will get privacy controls.

If you sell learning content or run employee training, AI support bots will shift how users search for answers. Your materials need clear metadata so Gemini can surface them.
