Germany plans to invest (public funding) another €1B in AI research, in the next 2 years.
The AI push comes as Germany attempts to turn around its economy from a recent recession.
This move is also to keep up with leading AI players like China ($13.4B in 2022) and the US ($47.4B in 2022).
Why We Should Care:
Germany plans to add 150 new university labs for AI research, expand data centers & more.
More AI access = more AI talent.
A whole new job wave might strike soon.
This applies if you’re in Germany (but also if not). Countries will continue to invest in AI and you’re at the forefront of it!
