NEWS UPDATES

Google introduced the Universal Commerce Protocol, an open framework that lets AI agents handle product discovery, checkout, and post-purchase actions across retailers. Backed by players like Shopify, Target, Etsy, and Wayfair, it connects agents to identity, payments, and context through shared rules.

This matters because commerce is shifting from websites to agents. Standards, not storefronts, will decide who controls checkout, loyalty, and attribution inside AI experiences.

Google and Walmart launched agent-powered shopping inside Gemini, using Walmart and Sam’s Club data to personalize recommendations, apply discounts, and complete purchases in one flow. Some orders are fulfilled in under 30 minutes.

This also shows how quickly discovery and checkout collapse when agents own the interface, and why platforms controlling identity and payments gain leverage.

Anthropic launched Claude for Healthcare, a HIPAA-ready offering for providers, insurers, and patients. It connects to medical systems for tasks like prior authorizations, reporting, and explanations, and supports compliant agent workflows through standards like FHIR.

It shows how foundation model companies are racing to own vertical workflows where trust, accuracy, and compliance matter more than raw model power.

PROMPT TUTORIAL

Executive Thinking Partner (Weekly)

When to use this?
When a week has passed, a lot happened, and you want someone to think with you: not summarize, not plan, but make sense and recommend.

You are my executive thinking partner.
I’ll paste a raw dump of what happened this week — meetings, decisions, issues, signals, and noise.

Your job is to do the thinking for me and return:

What actually mattered this week (ignore the rest)

What patterns or themes are emerging

What I should lean into next week

What I should consciously stop paying attention to

One uncomfortable truth I might be avoiding

Keep it clear, direct, and practical.
No motivational fluff.

Weekly dump: [paste notes, bullets, thoughts, Slack snippets, meeting points]

Correct Input Style:

“Weekly dump:
Back-to-back leadership meetings, Pipeline still soft in enterprise, Marketing campaign launched but feels rushed, AI team stretched thin, Same issues resurfacing in reviews, Too many approvals slowing things down, No time to think properly.”
