NEWS UPDATES

Microsoft unveiled Copilot Cowork as part of the Microsoft 365 Copilot Wave 3 update. The system, developed with Anthropic technology, acts as an enterprise AI agent capable of executing multi-step workflows across Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

It operates on a layer called Work IQ, which draws context from emails, meetings, chats, and files to generate plans and carry out tasks such as meeting preparation or research with citations.

Perplexity announced the Personal Computer at its Ask 2026 developer conference. It is a persistent AI agent that runs continuously on an M4 Mac mini, giving the system ongoing access to local files, apps, and sessions so it can carry work forward and execute tasks automatically.

The system acts as a secure digital proxy that connects local applications with Perplexity’s cloud-based Comet Assistant. It is currently available only to Max subscribers at $200 per month and supports triggers that let the agent monitor and act on tasks over time.

Meta acquired Moltbook, a Reddit-style social network built entirely for AI agents. The platform launched in January 2026 using the OpenClaw ecosystem, where bots create posts, comment, vote, and form communities called “submolts,” while humans mainly observe.

Co-founders Matt Schlicht and Ben Parr will join Meta’s Superintelligence Labs as part of the deal, which is expected to close by mid-March.

Decision Escalation Matrix

When to use this?
When too many decisions escalate upward, leadership time gets consumed.

I’ll describe a business function or initiative below.

Build a Decision Escalation Matrix that clarifies:

Decisions teams should make independently
Decisions that require manager approval
Decisions that must escalate to leadership
Clear criteria for escalation
Examples of each decision category

Keep it simple and operational.

Context: [describe team, function, or initiative]
