Microsoft is launching a new set of AI tools called "autonomous agents" that can automate sending emails, managing records, and handling customer support - directly competing with Salesforce. These agents will be available in a public preview starting in December 2024.
GPUs for Subscription
DataCrunch is aiming to become one of Europe's first major "AI compute" cloud providers, offering GPU-powered cloud services to both enterprise customers and individual AI researchers. It plans to build its infrastructure and expand its renewable energy-powered data centers in Finland and Iceland.
Perplexity’s Fundraising
Perplexity is reportedly in talks to raise around $500 million at an $8 billion valuation, more than doubling its previous $3 billion valuation. Perplexity currently brings in around $50 million in annual revenue.
