Midjourney gets into hardware

Midjourney has announced that it is expanding into hardware. The company has reportedly generated over $200 million in revenue without any venture capital investment.

While the specific hardware products Midjourney plans to develop are not yet clear. The company recently hired Ahmad Abbas, a former Neuralink employee who helped engineer Apple's mixed-reality headset.

OpenAI - highest valued AI startup ever

OpenAI is reportedly in talks to raise a massive new funding round of over $100 billion.

This would be led by previous investor Thrive Capital and would increase OpenAI's valuation from its previous $86 billion to make it the highest-valued AI startup ever.

Apple's latest iOS developer beta includes a new AI-powered feature called "Clean Up" that allows users to remove objects from photos.

Apple says the AI system can generate the background to fill in the area where the object was removed, even understanding shadows and reflections.
