Elon Musk filed a lawsuit seeking up to $134B from OpenAI and Microsoft, claiming wrongful gains tied to his early funding, recruiting, and credibility support. He argues those contributions materially enabled OpenAI’s rise, while OpenAI has rejected the claims and disputed the damages calculations.
OpenAI outlined how its revenue grows alongside delivered intelligence, linking compute spend to subscriptions, API usage, and newer commerce and advertising surfaces. Between 2023 and 2025, compute usage increased about 9.5× while revenue scaled roughly 10×, crossing $20B in annual recurring revenue. Growth has been driven by ChatGPT becoming a daily tool across work and personal use.
Astral introduced an AI agent that can browse the web, click through tools, and post across channels to execute full marketing workflows. The launch followed a $1.2M pre-seed round, and an announcement video quickly reached millions of views, reflecting strong interest in autonomous marketing agents.
