SoftBank plans to invest $500 million in a robotics startup called SkildAI. SkildAI is a 2-year-old company that has developed a generalized AI model that can be used in different types of robots and customized for specific applications

Hugging Face’s Version of R1

DeepSeek's R1 model has impressed many with its strong performance, but the company has been criticized for not fully open-sourcing the model and its training process. In response, the Hugging Face team has launched the Open-R1 project to replicate the R1 model from scratch using publicly available resources and open-source all of its components, including the training data.

ChatGPT Gov

OpenAI has launched a new product called ChatGPT Gov, specifically for US government agencies. This product will allow these agencies to securely access OpenAI's most advanced AI models, like GPT-4, within their own Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
