Sora 2 is here!
If you have seen Sam Altman on your Twitter feed stealing GPUs from a shop, it’s not him. It’s Sora.
OpenAI launched Sora 2 a couple of days ago with this video, and it took Twitter by storm. It’s OpenAI’s next-gen video + audio model, paired with a new iOS app for creating and sharing short clips.
It has already jumped to the top of the charts on the US App Store.
Key updates:
Video + audio in one step: Generates synchronized visuals and soundtracks, cutting down creative workflows.
Sharper realism: Physics and motion look noticeably more natural than in Sora 1.
Personalized cameos: Early testers are experimenting with face + voice insertion for branded or individual content.
Social-first app: The invite-only iOS app (US/Canada) pushes 10-second TikTok-style clips into a feed built for remixing.
Rights & safety baked in: Likeness protection and IP moderation tools are part of the core release.
Things to keep in mind
Clips are still short and capped at ~10 seconds in the app.
Pricing is unclear; “Pro” and API details are still vague.
Not enterprise-ready yet; compliance, reliability, and scale are open questions.
In the past few days, creators have rushed to test Sora 2’s realism and personalization, with some clips looking nearly production-ready. It’s a clear sign of how quickly AI video is evolving from a “demo toy” into a practical creative tool.

Perplexity’s Comet, its advanced AI assistant for search and summarization, is now free for everyone, expanding access to enterprise-grade AI tools for faster research, insights, and customer support.

You’re deciding which business functions or workflows should be prioritized for AI deployment next quarter.
You are a Chief AI Strategy Officer. I will describe our current business functions and challenges below.
Your job:
Identify 5 workflows where AI can create the most measurable value.
For each, estimate impact level (high/medium/low) and ease of implementation.
Suggest one starter project or proof of concept for each area.
End with a 2-line summary I can present to my COO or CFO.
Output format:
| Function | AI Use Case | Impact | Ease | Proof of Concept|
Correct Input Style:
Describe your organization in detail.
Eg: “We are a $1B logistics provider operating across Asia. Our priorities are faster delivery turnaround, reduced fuel costs, and automated customer tracking.”Describe current workflows and mention 3–4 business functions and key pain points
Eg: “Operations: manual route optimization; Finance: slow invoice reconciliation; HR: repetitive onboarding steps; Customer service: delays in response time.”
