Key update: Zoom has launched Zoom IQ, a service that allows users to generate summaries of meetings, even if they were absent. This feature is announced to rival AI tools in Microsoft Teams and Google Meet and relies on a blend of Zoom’s own language models and those sourced from OpenAI.
Why we should care: Having AI-generated meeting summaries can save time, improve efficiency, and ensure no important points are overlooked, even if you miss the meeting. It could eliminate the need for extensive note-taking and allows better decision-making with readily accessible meeting insights.
From our partners:
HelpHub is an AI chat + natural language search for any website or web app.
Just add source content (via URL, copy/paste, or sync with a CMS). The chatbot is then "trained" on that content and will answer questions based on that content only.
The output is an embeddable widget that contains two things:
The chatbot interface for users to ask questions
A search interface for users to search through the content the bot is trained on directly, as well as view source content.

Key update: Glean, the $1B search startup, has announced a new feature: Glean Chat. It uses AI to answer questions and analyze information drawn from a company's database in real-time. It is conversational and understands the sequence and context of inquiries, while working across various sources like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Jira, GitHub, and more.
Why we should care: Glean Chat is basically your company’s internal ChatGPT. It could streamline daily workflows and enhance decision-making by providing quick, contextually accurate, and personalized information. It also obeys all enterprise data permissions and security measures. So it won’t show stuff that you are not supposed to see.

Key update: Google has developed DIDACT, an ML (machine learning) model designed to help in software development. It provides action suggestions to enhance the work of developers based on their ongoing tasks. Three tools have already been built and they've received positive feedback from Google's developers.
Why we should care: DIDACT's development signals an increase in AI's capabilities to streamline complex processes like software development, hinting at more possibilities of AI integration in various sectors (not just software engineering). This could have a big impact on the productivity and efficiency of software development teams, reducing development time and improving code quality.
