$1 Trillion In US
SoftBank plans to invest over $1 trillion to build special AI-focused factories across the United States. These factories will use robots controlled by artificial intelligence to help deal with worker shortages.
This new $1 trillion plan is even bigger than SoftBank's previous $500 billion investment in AI technology announced earlier.
Amazon For Developers
Amazon is expanding access to its advanced generative AI models called Amazon Nova. Developers now have access to a research preview of the Amazon Nova Act SDK on the official website, which allows them to build AI agents that can complete tasks in web browsers.
Perplexity CEO Denies Financial Issues
Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas denied that the company is facing serious financial issues. He said Perplexity has "all the funding we've raised, and our revenue is only growing." Srinivas also stated that the company has "no plans of IPOing before 2028.
