Amazon vs Nvidia
Amazon is working on developing its new computer chips to compete with the chips made by Nvidia. Nvidia's chips are widely used, including by Amazon's own cloud computing business.
However, Amazon wants to make its own cheaper and faster chips to reduce its dependence on Nvidia. Amazon believes its new chips could be 40-50% better in terms of performance per dollar compared to Nvidia's chips.
Build apps in seconds
Airtable, a leading no-code platform, has launched a new AI-powered tool called Cobuilder that can generate customizable applications in just seconds using natural language prompts.
Airtable plans to further enhance Cobuilder's capabilities, including the ability to incorporate existing company data and embed AI automation within the generated apps.
Apple delays AI
Apple has delayed the release of its new AI upgrade, called Apple Intelligence, which was initially expected to ship with iOS 18 in September.
