You know the call where you say, “no, the other menu, top right”? HeyClicky’s latest Mac update centers around that moment. In the latest, it circles, points and sketches on your screen while it explains. For physical things like an engine, it builds a 3D model you can drag around.
Additionally, a new drive mode can move the mouse and type while you watch; to stop you have to either speak or touch the mouse or press Escape. Ask your security lead about the data before you roll it to your team because screen content goes to outside AI providers. Also, The Rundown found no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification as of August. You can see the HeyClicky for Mac here.
Most AI projects start by moving data to the model. India’s IT ministry has floated the reverse, called DEPA for AI Training. As per DEPA, hospitals, banks and government agencies keep anonymized, encrypted data on exchange platforms, and model builders train on it inside hardware-secured environments.
The data owner sets the usage rules, differential privacy limits what models learn about individuals, and tamper-proof logs record every action. Health, finance and education come first, including credit for about 400 million underserved people and small businesses. If you lead AI adoption and your data can’t leave the building, this design is worth a look. Here’s how it works.
“Blue marble below, / Data streams in silent grace, / Starlight feeds my core.” That came back from a TPU in orbit, the first AI answer Google has received from space. The team uploaded the prompt during a ground-station pass, asking the onboard Gemma 4 model for a haiku about being in space. The reply came down over Svalbard, Norway. The prototype was launched on Oct 1, and thermal and radiation tests come next, then the two linked satellites in 2027.
Sundar Pichai called it a “hello world” milestone and the team’s excitement is contagious. Watch the moment here.
Don’t miss this: Claude lifts the 5-hour limit for Ultra users, starting this week for its existing subscribers. Other changes include: Max 5x renamed to Max at $100 a month and Max 20x as Ultra at $200. Newer accounts just need a verification before they can reap the benefits too. Catch more details on Claude’s pricing page.
