Anthropic hasn’t announced a new round, but it’s reportedly getting unsolicited offers to raise around $50B at an $850–900B valuation. That’s not something you see often. The company has confirmed its run rate crossed $30B, and investor demand clearly isn’t the bottleneck here. This feels less like a company going out to raise and more like investors trying to get in before the terms are set.
Google is rolling out Gemini across cars with Google built-in, starting with GM vehicles from model year 2022 onward, covering about 4 million cars. It replaces the Assistant experience with something more capable, with integrations planned across Gmail, Calendar, Google Home, and vehicle data. Same interface, but the underlying system is doing a lot more than before and this isn’t limited to just one automaker.
Meta reported $42.3B in revenue, up 33% year over year, its fastest growth since 2021. At the same time, total users across its apps dropped by 20 million compared to last quarter. Part of that comes from outages and restrictions in certain regions, but it still stands out. Meanwhile, Meta is increasing AI-related spending, raising capex guidance to $125B–$145B for 2026, mostly going into chips and data centers.
