The new AI called "Code Llama" can:

Provide code suggestions as they type
The best part is this AI will be open-source, and available for free online.
Why We Should Care:
This AI can accelerate the coding process, reduce errors, and is a time saver.
Meta's open-source approach may force competitors to release more free AIs or affordable powerful AIs.
I was talking to a friend yesterday about how there’s no clear winner yet.
In 2000, when Google Search had only a 15% market share, Yahoo and MSN were further at 21% and 17% respectively.
Today, Google has a 77% search engine market share.
Similarly, there’s still a lot of opportunity in the AI world for OpenAI and also companies that are competing with OpenAI.
This AI game is decades long. Decades.
