Microsoft Edge is now an AI browser
Microsoft Edge is now an AI browser with the launch of ‘Copilot Mode’. Edge now ships with a side-panel Copilot that summarizes pages, rewrites email drafts, and runs quick data analysis. Users can pin Copilot in any tab and export outputs to Word or Excel. This turns a commodity browser into an always-on productivity layer.
CEOs/CMOs should pilot Edge for research teams; lower context-switching could free billable hours and lift content quality.
Anthropic imposes new rate limits on Claude code users
Heavy customers now face stricter per-minute token caps and higher burst fees when calling Claude’s coding endpoints. Anthropic says limits are needed to protect latency for enterprise SLAs. The caps apply immediately to paid tiers and will roll to the free tier next month.
Audit your own Claude traffic: smoothing batch jobs or caching results may avoid surprise overage bills and keep dev teams unblocked.
Microsoft-backed Harmonic launches math-first AI chatbot
Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev unveiled Harmonic, a chat tool that solves complex equations, graphs data, and exports results to Python notebooks. Microsoft’s M12 fund led the seed round. The app is already live in private beta on iOS and web.
Finance and R&D groups can test Harmonic as a faster alternative to spreadsheet macros; stronger numeric reasoning may cut model-validation cycles.
