Nvidia in China

NVIDIA is developing a new flagship AI chip specifically for the Chinese market. This chip will be designed to comply with U.S. export restrictions on technology sales to China.

The new "B20" chip that NVIDIA is working on with Chinese partner Inspur is intended to address this challenge and provide a high-performance AI solution for the Chinese market while adhering to U.S. trade policies.

$70M NIST Project

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) plans to provide up to $70 million over 5 years to establish the institute, which must also obtain cost-sharing funds from non-federal sources.

The new institute will develop AI-based advanced manufacturing capabilities by collaborating with industry, academia, and government.

Google’s AI Agents

Google has announced Project Oscar, an open-source platform that allows developers to build AI agents that can handle tasks like tracking bug reports, interacting with contributors, and surfacing relevant information - all using natural language interactions.
