NEWS UPDATES

OpenAI’s Massive Fundraising

OpenAI has raised $40 billion in new funding worth $300 billion. SoftBank led this huge investment, with Microsoft and other previous investors joining in. About $18 billion will go to "Stargate," to build AI data centers across the United States. This is one of the largest private funding rounds ever recorded.

Elon’s $400M Project

Elon Musk is building a giant AI supercomputer in Memphis. xAI has already spent over $400 million on this project. The company wants to install 1 million GPU chips, but faces a big problem: insufficient electricity. To reach its goal, xAI would need four times more power than it currently has.

AI Everywhere by 2027

Gartner forecasts global spending on generative AI will reach $644 billion in 2025, a 76.4% increase from 2024. Hardware will take up 80% of this spending, with devices accounting for $398.3 billion.
