OpenAI VS 50+ companies

Meta, IBM, and 50+ industry leaders formed an alliance to create a more open, collaborative AI ecosystem. They hope to promote a more open and collaborative approach to AI development through sharing technology and collaborating between companies, universities, and independent programmers.

The AI Alliance aims to create a more diverse, transparent, and accountable AI landscape and provide a counterpoint to closed systems such as the GPT models of OpenAI and ChatGPT.

Copyright-free AI videos

RunwayML and Getty Images are collaborating to create the Runway <> Getty Images Model (RGM) which combines Runway's AI technology with Getty's licensed media library to allow custom video AI models without copyright issues.

RGM will be available for commercial use in the coming months. RunwayML currently has a waiting list.

Animate Anyone

“Animate Anyone” is a new AI technique developed by researchers at Alibaba Group that can take a single image of a person and generate a realistic-looking video of that person performing different motions and poses. While the results are not perfect, the technology represents a major improvement over previous image-to-video systems.
