Pentagon’s First AI Defense Contract

The U.S. government has given a $1.8 million contract to Jericho Security. This is the first time the government has hired a company to use artificial intelligence (AI) for cybersecurity. Jericho Security will use AI to help protect the U.S. military from cyber attacks.

Automate Anything

Microsoft has developed a new multi-agent framework called Magnetic-One that allows a single AI model to power various helper agents to complete complex, multi-step tasks. The system manages the agents, assigns them tasks, and redirects them if needed to ensure the overall task is completed successfully.

AI Hub in Saudi Arabia

Google is opening a new AI-focused data center in Saudi Arabia. The hub will support research into Arab language AI models as well as "Saudi-specific AI applications". Aramco, the state-owned oil company, already uses AI to boost oil production.
