Better than Tesla?

An Indian startup called Swaayatt Robots claims to have achieved level 5 autonomous driving capability. They demonstrated this by having an autonomous vehicle navigate a complex toll plaza scenario, negotiating bidirectional traffic and avoiding obstacles.

This would be a major advancement over current level 2 autonomous vehicles from Tesla.

AI for securing the code

GitHub is making big strides in using AI for cybersecurity, a few key features: Identifying security vulnerabilities earlier, by suggesting secure code fixes directly in pull requests powered by AI models.

Detecting leaked passwords and secrets with fewer false positives, improving GitHub's secret scanning capabilities.

India’s AI demand

The AI market in India is projected to grow substantially in the coming years. It was worth around $4 billion in 2023 but is estimated to reach $15 billion by 2030. However, there is currently a gap between the supply and demand of AI professionals in India.

Over 300,000 new jobs related to generative AI are expected to be created in India by 2025.
