IN PARTNERSHIP

Modern bots are smarter than ever. They execute JavaScript, store cookies, rotate IPs, and even solve CAPTCHAs with AI. As attacks grow more sophisticated, traditional detection methods can’t reliably keep them out.

WorkOS Radar protects your auth flow from threats in real-time: blocking bots, stopping brute force attempts, and catching free trial abuse. Built-in defenses activate instantly with no custom scripts or logic required.

Fast to implement and built to scale.

NEWS UPDATES

Thinking Machines Lab valued at $12 billion

Mira Murati’s new AI startup raised $2 billion before releasing any product, giving the company a paper value of $12 billion. The money will pay for a large computer cluster that should be ready by 2026. Investors want early access to whatever models the lab builds.

If you hope to use next-generation AI, start talking to these labs early. Early partners get better prices and priority when computing power is scarce. Waiting could mean higher costs or longer wait times later.

Google Discover adds AI summaries

Google will now show short AI-written blurbs above some links in the Discover feed. Readers can see the main points without clicking through to the original article. Early tests show fewer people tap the link when a summary is shown.

If your team relies on traffic from news stories (either for sales leads or advertising), plan for fewer visitors coming in this way. You may need to place your content directly in apps or pay for sponsored spots to stay visible.

Microsoft brings Copilot Vision screen reading to Windows

A coming Windows update will let you draw a box around anything on your screen—text in a video, an old software window, a PDF, and Copilot will read it, translate it, or write a summary. Microsoft says the feature keeps data inside your company’s secure cloud.

Look at jobs where people still copy words by hand from screenshots or legacy systems. This tool can save time right away, without replacing the old programs you still need.
