Safe Superintelligence (SSI), a new AI startup co-founded by Ilya Sutskever, the former chief scientist at OpenAI has raised $1 billion in funding to develop safe AI systems that can surpass human capabilities.
The company plans to use the funds to acquire computing power and hire top talent, focusing on building a small, highly trusted team of researchers and engineers.
Paradigm is using AI to revolutionize the spreadsheet. The company's software employs AI agents built on models like GPT-4 and Llama to quickly gather data from the web and automatically populate spreadsheet cells at a rate of 500 per minute.
This allows users to create complex spreadsheets with minimal manual effort, such as pulling data on the most active engineers from GitHub or comparing job candidates to job descriptions.
