OpenAI has unveiled its latest and largest AI model yet, called GPT-4.5 or "Orion." While GPT-4.5 outperforms OpenAI's previous GPT-4 model on some benchmarks. OpenAI notes that GPT-4.5 is very expensive to run, and they are evaluating whether to continue offering it long-term.

Model That Outdoes DeepSeek?

Tencent has released a new AI model called Hunyuan Turbo S to compete with DeepSeek. The Turbo S is designed to respond instantly, distinguishing itself from DeepSeek's deep reasoning approach. Tencent claims the Turbo S is competitive against DeepSeek's latest V3 model based on common AI tests

Copilot App for Mac

Microsoft is releasing a new Copilot app for macOS that will provide access to their AI assistant, similar to the existing Windows version. They are also making Copilot's Think Deeper and Voice features free with unlimited use, removing previous limits for free users.
