JPMorgan Chase’s AI tools

JPMorgan Chase is releasing an AI tool called the LLM Suite for its 140,000 employees as part of its broader AI strategy. The goal is to use AI to optimize the bank's operations and processes, with the expectation of driving $2 billion in efficiencies over the next 3-5 years.

This could allow JPMorgan to process significantly more work for the same cost or reduce spending.

Humanoid Robot for Households

1X, a robotics company backed by OpenAI has released the “NEO Beta” humanoid robot. The NEO Beta is designed for home use, standing 5'5" tall and weighing just 66 lbs.

The company plans to deploy the NEO Beta for testing in home settings, to have the robot assist people, especially those with limited mobility.

World Labs

Fei-Fei Li, a renowned AI researcher, has launched a new AI startup called World Labs. The company has raised $230 million in initial funding from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, New Enterprise Associates, and Radical Ventures.

The goal of World Labs is to develop AI technology that can better understand the three-dimensional physical world. This "spatial intelligence" is seen as a key missing piece in current generative AI models.
