OpenAI is working on a desktop “superapp” that combines ChatGPT, Codex, and its in-app browser into a single interface. The goal is to bring AI chat, coding, and web interaction into one workspace instead of separate tools.
The product overhaul is being led by Greg Brockman and Fidji Simo, and is aimed at simplifying workflows for engineering and business users. The move also reflects consolidation across OpenAI’s product stack as it focuses more on integrated, productivity-driven use cases.
Anthropic introduced Claude Code Channels, allowing users to send messages to existing coding sessions through platforms like Telegram and Discord. The feature is currently in research preview and is designed to make sessions persistent and easier to revisit.
Claude Code also now supports recurring tasks, enabling scheduled automation for coding and documentation workflows. Together, these updates extend Claude Code beyond single sessions into ongoing, chat-integrated workflows.
Lovable, an AI-powered app-building platform, is actively pursuing acquisitions to expand its product stack. The company has reached around $400 million in annual recurring revenue, up from roughly $200 million at the end of 2025.
The platform now sees over 200,000 new projects created daily. It has already acquired infrastructure startup Molnett and is targeting small teams and products that can integrate into its ecosystem as it builds out a broader developer platform.
