NEWS UPDATES

SpaceX has acquired xAI, forming what’s now estimated to be the world’s most valuable private company at around $1.25 trillion. The merger brings xAI’s model development together with SpaceX’s launch and satellite infrastructure, with a long-term focus on building space-based data centers. Elon Musk has framed orbital computing as a way to bypass Earth-based limits around power, cooling, and land availability for AI.

OpenAI released a native Codex macOS app that supports parallel agentic coding, background task scheduling, and customizable agent personalities. Built on GPT-5.2-Codex, the app is designed for long-running development workflows and positions Codex as a direct alternative to tools like Claude Code. It allows developers to manage complex coding tasks without keeping everything inside a browser or IDE.

Mozilla is adding a “Block AI enhancements” toggle in Firefox that lets users disable all AI features or control them individually. The update applies to generative and assistant-style features embedded in the browser and reflects Mozilla’s emphasis on user choice and transparency as AI becomes more common in browsers.

PROMPT TUTORIAL

Turn This Repetitive Work Into an Automation

When to use this?
When you have a repeatable task and want AI to design the automation for you, step by step.

I’ll describe a recurring task we do manually.

Your job is to:

Break the task into clear steps

Identify which steps can be automated vs must stay human

Propose a simple automation flow using tools we likely already have

Specify inputs, outputs, and triggers

Give a first version we could set up in under a day

Keep it practical. No architecture diagrams.
