YouTube is testing a chatbot
YouTube is experimenting with two new AI features: a chatbot that can answer questions and summarize videos, and a tool that organizes video comments into topic categories. The chatbot is currently only available on Android for some Premium users in the US.
OpenAI’s faster and cheaper AI
OpenAI's latest AI model, GPT-4 Turbo, is now available in preview and is three times cheaper to run than its predecessor, GPT-4. It also has a larger context window and can perform more complex tasks in a single prompt. Additionally, OpenAI is now offering copyright indemnity to enterprise users through its Copyright Shield program.
AI in Xbox
Microsoft is partnering with Inworld AI to develop tools that will allow game developers to create AI-powered characters, stories, and quests. The tools will be multiplatform and will include an AI design copilot and an AI character engine.
