Anthropic introduced an auto mode in research preview for Claude Code that lets the system execute developer actions autonomously without constant approval. The feature includes built-in safeguards that review actions for risks like prompt injection or unintended behavior, blocking unsafe steps while allowing approved ones to proceed.
Granola raised $125 million in Series C funding at a $1.5 billion valuation, bringing total funding to $192 million. The platform is evolving beyond note-taking into structured collaboration and action workflows. Originally a meeting transcription tool, it now serves enterprise teams at companies like Vanta, Gusto, Asana, and Mistral AI. The product has added Spaces, a team workspace feature with folders, access controls, and searchable notes, along with new personal and enterprise APIs for integrating meeting data into AI workflows and systems like CRMs.
Google introduced new tools in Gemini that let users import memories and full chat histories from other AI assistants. Memories can be transferred by exporting and pasting personal context, while full chat histories can be uploaded as ZIP files from platforms like ChatGPT or Claude for continued conversations and search. The update is designed to reduce switching friction and make it easier for users to move across AI platforms while keeping context intact.
