Midjourney changed terms
Midjourney's new v6 image generation model can produce images that are nearly identical to copyrighted works like movie scenes, raising intellectual property concerns.
In response, Midjourney updated its terms of service to state that users are responsible for any copyright infringement with generated images. It warns it will pursue legal action against infringing users.
AI now has an ISO standard
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) have adopted the world's first standard for developing AI systems responsibly called ISO/IEC 42001.
Amazon Web Services has committed to following the new ISO standard and is working to improve standards around risk management, data quality, bias, and transparency.
